Project – Daikin split system installation at Mosman.

Our crew recently installed a new Daikin split system for a one bedroom apartment in the Mosman area.

The indoor unit is placed in the living room in the centre of the wall so the air can freely flow through the whole apartment from the back to the front into the bedroom. That particular model of the split system is the Daikin LIGHT model and it has all basic and necessary functions: cooling/heating, programmable timer and many others.

Indoor unit has a stylish shape and looks natural above the bookshelves.

The outdoor unit was lifted and installed on the wall mounted brackets above the side pass. The drain point from the outdoor unit combined with the drain from the indoor unit and redirected to the storm water pipe to keep space under the unit dry. The outdoor unit side is pretty compact considering its capacity which is 5kw for cooling and 6kw for heating. The noise level is very low and its less than 50db which can be barely heard at a distance of 1.5 meters.

This current generation of the aircons has a very impressive energy efficiency ratio that is very important these days.
