Project – Multi split system replacement at Cremorne

Our company recently replaced an old multi system LG with a brand new Daikin multi system in an apartment at Cremorne. The existing ac system was installed during the building works and lasted for a good 15 years and completely failed recently so there was no point trying to fix it – no spare parts existing on the market for that old aircon. So we replaced it with a new and more efficient multi system with two indoor wall mounted ac units Daikin brand LIGHT series. It is the basic model of daikin split systems and has all necessary functions (heating/cooling), low noise level for the outdoor unit and impressive energy efficiency ratio. As you can see on the pictures the indoor unit has dimensions smaller than the previous model even in spite they both have the same capacity – this is just how the aircons are made these days: smaller size but same capacity. The outdoor unit is lifted and placed on plastic blocks so the drain is connected from the outdoor unit as well as from the indoors. Also it protects the bottom of the outdoor unit from rust and corrosion.
