Project – Daikin split system installation at Neutral Bay.

That unusual installation happened at Neutral Bay. Customer asked us to fit the indoor unit into his new cabinet in the living room.

Unfortunately the depth of the cabinet wasn’t enough to fit the concealed type of the aircon – bulkhead type but it was just enough to fit the 5kw Daikin split indoor unit. The clearance at the top part allows the air coming into the indoor coil (as every wall mounted aircon has an air intake from the top) and then just enough space at the bottom part for supply air.

The outdoors installed on the balcony. We lifted and put it on the wall brackets as the customer wanted to use space under the outdoor unit later and put some pots there.

The noise level is very low for that Daikin model so it won’t be heard from inside the apartment.
