Project – Daikin split system installed at Cremorne Point

Recently our team installed the Daikin split system in a townhouse in the Cremorne Point area.

The special addition to the standard installation was the use of a mini condensate pump for water due to the special layout of the room (no external walls, only glass windows). So all connections had to go up through the roof and down the wall to the outdoor ac unit. Condensate pump is a special device that is installed next to the indoor unit and it pushes the water against the gravity into the roof void space where it can be redirected to the gutter.

Indoor unit located in the middle of the bedroom and plastic pipe covering was used internally.

Outdoor unit (condenser) was placed in a large patio area on rubber stands to avoid vibration and to keep some clearance between the floor and bottom of the unit.

All external pipework enclosed into green trunking (pipe casing) as per strata regulation to match the colour of the downpipe.
